I have been interested in photography for as long as I can
remember. I used to shoot with a Pentax K1000 and I
could make nice photos of outdoor scenes but I was never quite
happy with my indoor shots. Film did not always give me
the shots that I had imagined.
As
technology increased I bought my first digital camera which
was a 1 mega pixel Fugi. It had some nice advantages and
I could use it in my computer consulting and web design
business, but it lacked image quality.
Next I
bought a Sony F707 point and shoot, I love this camera and I
still use it today. Its a 5 mega pixel camera and it
takes great photos. Around this time I became the
photographer for the town of Burrillville. Due to this
job my interest in photography has hugely increased and I
upgraded to a Canon 20 D digital SLR.
I've been a
serious amateur for about a year now and within that time I've
started this club and entered the world of stock photography.
I enjoy nature photography and fashion photography the most
but I am always willing to shoot new subjects.
